She has completed numerous industry courses, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Chartered Financial Planner program, and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation, and is also a Registered Retirement Consultant. These credentials reflect not only her knowledge but also her long-standing commitment to professional excellence and ongoing education.

Karen specializes in working with pre-retirees and retirees, helping them navigate complex decisions around retirement income, tax efficiency, estate planning, and long-term financial security. She is known for taking the time to truly understand each client’s goals, concerns, and life circumstances, and for translating complexity into clear, actionable strategies through a comprehensive personal financial plan.

Consistently recognized as a top performer within Region Office 86, Karen’s success is grounded in long-term relationships built on trust, transparency, and follow-through. Karen completed the Wharton School’s Behavioral Finance for Private Clients Program, a specialized course designed for financial professionals who want to deepen their understanding of how human behavior impacts financial decision-making. This advanced program explores the latest research in psychology, behavioral economics, and the human sciences, equipping advisors with evidence-based tools to better recognize client biases, improve communication, and support more thoughtful, goal-aligned financial planning. Karen integrates these insights into her practice to offer a more personalized, client-centered approach to wealth management.
